B.O.R.D.A Higher Level 2-Day Course

B.O.R.D.A Higher Level 2-Day Course

This advanced level covers most situations likely to be encountered in driving cross-country and is particularly important for those working alone and in slippery conditions with significant slopes. Situations that can be sorted easily on road can be very hazardous when tackled off-road, for example changing a wheel in soft mud needs very careful planning and starting to slide on a steep slippery hill needs new skills and confidence.

The course is structured to be progressive with ample time allowed for attaining high skill levels. We would expect all attendees to attain a good knowledge of their vehicle, be able to assess each situation safely and be able to drive off-road in a safe and competent way with minimum strain on vehicle, passengers, load and environment.
Higher Level for 1 delegate £680 plus VAT (£816.00)

Trailer Training  (1 Day Course)

Trailer Training (1 Day Course)

Although the law has now changed and everyone who has passed their driving test can now tow a vehicle up to 3500Kgs in weight we would still recommend some form of training.

We highly recommend training even more if you have to tow a trailer off road. The risk of accident and injury massively increases when we add a trailer to a 4x4 off road.

This course covers:
Legal requirements for trailed equipment
Equipment checks
Trailer & Hitch types
Loading and securing of loads
Driving off-road (Theory)
Coupling and uncoupling a trailer
Towing off road (Practical)
Revering with a trailer.
The course is assessed and certification is provided.

Trailer HIre £150 + VAT (£180.00)
All our prices include Certificates and administration costs.
You will need to bring your own packed lunch and refreshments.
